Brittney Brown Cooper
Brittney Brown Cooper is a dedicated scholar-practitioner who currently serves as the Director of Operations and Staff Success within Admission Services at Arizona State University. She also leads behavioral analysis efforts for Academic Enterprise Enrollment and is one of just two certified Master Spark facilitators at ASU—a role that reflects her passion for fostering personal and organizational transformation.
With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, Brittney brings both depth and heart to her work in organizational strategy, leadership development, and team facilitation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development and a master’s degree from the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication, where she deepened her study of communication as a tool for equity, connection, and growth.
Rooted in a commitment to creating inclusive, resilient, and thriving workplace cultures, Brittney’s work blends trauma-informed approaches with expertise in executive communication, organizational design, design thinking, and public speaking. Her approach is both human-centered and data-informed.
As a researcher, Brittney explores how leadership discourse and employee voice intersect to shape workplace culture. Her inquiry bridges theory and practice, always with the goal of helping individuals feel heard and valued while building stronger, more communicative organizations. Through her work, she invites teams and leaders to engage deeply, reflect boldly, and lead with intention.
